Al-Qalam Academy is honored to announce the launch of its comprehensive and spiritually enriching One-Year Mini ʿĀlim / ʿĀlima Program, designed especially for students who have completed Grade 9 or 10.
This program is a golden opportunity for ambitious and spiritually inclined youth who wish to strengthen their Islamic foundation while continuing their academic journey. It is a path for those who aspire to understand their Deen deeply and live a life rooted in purpose, discipline, and piety.

In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing world, mere academic knowledge is not enough. Our youth need a solid spiritual framework, built upon sound beliefs, moral character, and a clear understanding of Islamic values.
This program aims to equip them with the tools to navigate life with wisdom, confidence, and unwavering faith.
Key Features
⏳ Duration: One full academic year (divided into two semesters)
📅 Class Days: Sunday to Thursday (5 days a week)
⏰ Timing Options:
Morning Session: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Evening Session: 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Students may choose the session that suits their academic schedule
🏫 Learning Environment: Separate classes for boys and girls
Shariʿah-compliant, respectful, and nurturing environment
Disciplined classrooms with a spiritual atmosphere
Commencement of Classes:
In shā Allāh, regular classes will commence from 1st June 2025.
Holidays:
All official public holidays will be observed
Winter break: Only 1 week
Summer break: Only 1 month

Primary Language of Academic Instruction: Urdu

Eligibility Criteria
Age must be between 13 and 16 years
(An exception in age limit may be made for students who are Ḥāfiẓ al-Qur’ān)
Completion of Grade 9 or 10
Practicing Muslim with good character and discipline
Physically and mentally fit
Must pass an entrance test and/or interview
Willingness to abide by the academy’s rules and values
